As a pharmacist I see patients with cancer every day, and I see many sadly lose their battles with this awful disease. Increasing numbers of patients are now surviving and with increased research these numbers will grow. Cancer Research UK estimates that 400,000 fewer people will die from cancer over the next 20 years thanks to advances in research. That’s got to be a goal worth striving for & certainly worth a few blisters. That is why I am running the London Marathon 2017 for Cancer Research UK.  I’ve run marathons before and I know how much training is involved. There will be many hours of pavement pounding in wintry conditions, so it will not be easy. There can’t be a family that hasn’t been hit by cancer. Mine has & I want to do something about it. Cancer Research is saving lives now and will save more lives in the future. I’d like to raise £1000 for this charity, but I need your help.

Please donate whatever you can spare.

Thank you

Martin
