Story
Since very early age I became aware of how lucky I was to be able to see everything around me. The colours, the shapes, recognise people from far and all the wonderful things my mum couldn't as she has cognitive poor eyesight.
It wasn't until my son was 6 years old that I realised through and eye test that he has only 10% of his vision on his right eye. No one would guess it as his left eye works really hard to cover for his right eye. After few appointments, glasses and only one contact lense in his right eye. The doctors realised that there was no treatment that could improve his vision and that he has to live with only one good eye.
Although I can't change my mum and son's limitations I would like to raise some funds for Sight for Surrey, a charity that supports people in Surrey who are blind or partially sighted, deaf, deaf blind or hard of hearing.
