So it’s official - I got a charity place to run the London Marathon… yikes!!
Sue Ryder do so much for so many people. They provided me with bereavement counselling after Arran died and I genuinely don’t know what I’d have done without that. In the last 9 months through meeting other widows I’ve learn more about what different kinds of support they provide to people and it’s humbling.
I’ve also realised that I need goals, and plans for things that will do me good and maybe do good for others. Hence this crazy scheme
So - the small matter of fundraising. I’m going to try my damnedest to run this marathon and do my very best; and to that end I’ve joined a running club; basically I will be living and breathing running between now and April. With occasional cake pit stops. Because y’know!
I’m asking everyone to give whatever they feel able x This page will be open up-to and after the day of the marathon. I’ve pledged to raise at least £2000 and I would love to smash this x
Thankyou so much for reading this far x I’m going to need ALL of the virtual support possible xx
