On 8th June 2025 Liam and I will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for Heart Research UK. The date has been revised from original date of June 2023. (Liam broke his leg 4 weeks before the original scheduled date. Liam needed metal work to heal the bone together. The leg is still healing, however the metal work was removed in December 2024. We now just have to wait until May 2025 to get the all clear from the consultant before we can jump.)

In March 2022 I decided to lose weight after having my 3rd child and my weight had crept up to 21 stone. I needed to lose the weight so that I could enjoy life again. My Dad was always there to praise me on my journey and say well done every time I lost the weight. Unfortunately on 6th June 2022 my mum came home from work and found my Dad had passed from a fatal heart attack. He was only 59. On that day my heart broke into a million pieces. 💔 We didn't know he was unwell it happened just like that.

The past 2 years have been incredibly difficult trying to workout what the new normal is with out him. I have gone on to lose 6 stone to date. I want to lose a further 3 stone. I am now at a weight now that I can skydive in my Dad's memory.

Liam has also come so far to get to this point of feeling confident to do this jump with me. Liam was diagnosed with Asperger’s when he was 7 years old and his Grandad was so proud of the young confident man he is growing into.

My Dad was the most caring, helpful and incredible man in the world. He was so selfless and is missed everyday. Please help us raise £1500 for Heart Research Uk. Even if we manage to save one person via our donations it will be worth saving their family the pain we currently feel 💔
