Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started working at The Children's Society last year, and I have been amazed at the work it does supporting vulnerable children and young people.  It's projects include supporting children who have experienced Child Sexual Exploitation; working with teenagers who repeatedly run away from home and go missing; and providing advocacy for children who are in care, making sure their voice is heard.

It's simple really: the more money we raise, the more children we help.

So, I thought I'd do my part and help fundraise.  I looked through the choices, immediately skipping over the marathon (and 5k!) options, and landed on the idea of abseiling down Liverpool Cathedral.  'Easy', I thought, 'No need to train for this one, and I can combine it with a visit to see the family'.  I forgot that I'm not fantastic with heights!

So, please donate whatever you can, once the donations roll in I can't change my mind!
