Story
Hi All.
Welcome to my very simple Just Giving page.
In just over a month I will be running the London Marathon. Not only is this a huge personal challenge but I am also trying to raise money for the wonderful Bone Cancer Unit at the Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, Shropshire. As many of you will know, I work as a GP in Much Wenlock in Shropshire and so I see lots of patients affected by cancer and its treatment. Cancer affects us all, whether it be personally, through affected loved ones or professionally. The services provided at Oswestry are highly respected throughout the region and I am really excited and motivated to run hard and fundraise hard!!
Training is going well but a couple of hard weeks coming up - 50miles +!! I did the marathon in 2008 and loved it. It's just taken me another 6 years to get this point again!! Can't wait to get to that start line....................
Please feel able to donate to this worthwhile cause. Every little helps.
