As most of you know my brother Joseph Burns passed away in
summer 2014 from sudden adult death. From his passing our family have had to undergo tests to see if any family members carry the gene that Joseph had.  This was unknown to our Family and with the Support of The British Heart Foundation we were able to be tested. Throughout this  the British heart foundation allocated us a staff member to support us throughout this hard time, they also have taken a sample of Joseph heart and are undergoing more tests to help them understand sudden adult death in more detail.

So in return for all the support they have given us I have decided to form 2 teams to run the replay for the Belfast Marathon 2017 and ask for donations to be given to the British Heart foundation to help them
in their study into sudden adult death.
