Story
Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit this page. In memory of my dad Ian Corner I am hoping to raise donations for Alzheimer’s Research UK. No amount is too little to help such an amazing cause, and we ask that you please help us and donate to a charity that has become very close to our hearts over the last few years.
Unfortunately on August 31st my dad lost his battle with Alzheimer’s. This loss hit us all hard, and although he had been suffering from this terrible disease for years, it was so sudden and such a shock.
My dad was an amazing man, a great father, a loving husband, a caring brother and was always eager to pass on his wisdom to his nieces and nephews. He was there for everyone, no matter what it was, how big or how small, he’d always be there to lend a helping hand.
I’m sure many of you have fond memories of my father, whether it be from his days in the police force, his time spent volunteering at the village swimming pool, assisting on the castle estate for years, his mastery of DIY, building tree houses, rope swings or go karts. Perhaps something as small as the turbo button in the Vauxhall cavalier that turned out to just be the hazard warning light combined with him putting his foot down and speeding. Whatever the memories I hope they bring a smile to your face as they do to ours.
So in memory of such an incredibly loving man, myself and our whole family would appreciate your donation to help combat this horrible disease.
Should you have any memories or photos you would like to share then please do so and I can share them to this page for everyone to read and see.
