Story
I am cycling from St Davids in Wales to Lowestoft over 4 days, averaging 100 miles per day in memory of my son Callum.
Callum was diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma - a terminal brain tumour on Christmas Eve 2018. He had an operation to remove as much of the tumour as safely possible and also had two rounds of radiotherapy. Callum amazed us all with his bravery; strength and positive attitude throughout his illness. Devastatingly, on August 20th, 2020 Callum passed away at The Nook, an EACH hospice.
The staff at The Nook cared not only for Callum but for the whole family. They have provided counselling for us all during Callum's illness and since his death. The last few weeks of Callum's life were spent mainly at The Nook and we will never be able to thank the staff for the exemplary care and compassion they showed to us all.
Any donation you give, however big or small will be greatly appreciated
