Ever-popular and attracting more supporters than ever, the national Brain Tumour Research Walk of Hope is back, taking place on Saturday 24th September 2022. Will you step forward?

Story

It's 5 years since my husband David's anaplastic oligodendroglioma diagnosis. A year of treatment - brain surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy -  followed diagnosis and as a result of this treatment to keep the tumour stable, he now lives with severe acquired brain injury.

Brain Tumour Research are working to find better treatment options and ultimately a cure, but this research needs funding.

Your donation today will go towards that research and we can't thank you enough that you are helping to stop the devastation. Every donation and every bit of progress brings hope to those affected by brain tumours.

My friend Catherine is walking with me, and for the last couple of years she has become a really important part of my support network, so a huge thank you to her too for joining me on the walk and for everything she has done since we met.

Together we will find a cure.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
