Story
Massive challenge for me having only taken up running since January this year.
Charity close to my heart as back in 2008 I was with my grandad only a short time after he had had his stroke & along with my brother had to explain what had happened, whilst also caring for my Nan who had dementia.
Three months of recovery for him in hospital with many challenges and accepting his new life in a wheelchair & minus the use of his right side. Both grandparents were then taken into care homes.
Always wanted to raise funds for this charity so here I am many years later also facing my fear of running!
