Story
I am 13 years old and a competitive swimmer without a pool to train in so I thought it would be an excellent idea to support this charity while I stay fit. I will be swimming 26.2 miles in my 10 foot cold water pool at home over a week. People with blood cancer are most vulnerable during COVID-19 as they have weakened immune systems. Help me raise money for this incredible charity.
I will be swimming freestyle, 4 miles a day (taking me around 1 hour 40 a day) over 7 days to reach my marathon target of 26.3 miles. The challenge starts on Monday 13th April, 2020 and will keep you all updated with videos and photos!
Please give if you can, it will really help Blood Cancer UK and everyone effected by Blood Cancer.
Blood Cancer UK are a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. They do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, they have invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, their community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
