Gracie came home from school one afternoon and told us she wanted to cut her hair to make a wig for other little girls who were poorly and have lost their hair. She said they deserve to have princess hair too and mine will grow back.

To say we are proud of her is an understatement. She is 6 years of age and has a heart of gold. Gracie loves her 'rapunzel' hair and, and so this is a really big deal for her as she has never had her hair cut. But she insists she wants to do this after months of me double and triple checking she was sure.

We thought that if she is going to make this remarkable donation, then we would ask people to sponsor her, all donations going to the Little Princess Trust charity, which will be used to fund the making of the wig.

Gracie will be sitting down at Finishing Touches hairdressers on 3rd September to chop off at least 10-12 inches of her hair! Pictures will be posted.
