Hello everyone!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m really excited to tell you that I have been selected to volunteer in Africa with Y Care International on an International Citizen Service placement. ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help. I am leaving my job and will be living in West Africa for 3 months with a host family, working with UK and local volunteers to help the local community. These projects range from helping young entrepreneurs set up their businesses, providing health care information and teaching young people English and skills to gain employment. 

Before I leave on June 26th, I need to fundraise £800 - Please note this is not a holiday or volunturism, you are not funding me to sunbathe on a beach whilst drinking coconut water! Nor is this money going towards funding my flights or project but straight to the charity YCare International so that they can continue to do the brilliant work that they do. I won't be able to do this without your help! I will be placed in Togo, West Africa.

 It would be amazing if you are able to donate any amount, no matter how big or small, to help out and enable YCare to continue supporting young people to make a positive difference in the world. In the run up to my departure date, I'll be doing a whole bunch of fundraising activities so watch this space!

As you all know I love fashion. I studied it for 3 years and work in the fashion industry. But as of March, I will be wearing the same (not so nice,boring) dress every single day for a whole month! I will be documenting this over Instagram/Facebook so you can all see me experiencing my worst nightmare.
