GCW Three Peaks Challenge, 1 July 2017
We fund much-needed equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

GCW's Three Peaks Challenge team is Alex Ash, Clive Gillingwater, David Gooch, Duncan Kite, Simon Horner, Patrick Bates, Phil Micheal, Nick Warr and Adam Cohen, supported by minibus driver Henry Lane of CBRE.

We are
training to complete the Three Peaks Challenge, trekking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in one continuous attempt. The climbs will take us to the peak of Ben Nevis at 1,345m, Scafell Pike at 978m and Snowdon at 1,085m.

It's all in aid of Elifar, a small charity which helps improve the care, facilities and equipment available to profoundly disabled children and young adults. The charity funds the purchase of a wide range of highly specialised equipment, which would otherwise be unavailable because of a lack of funds or because there is no statutory provision.

We've supported Elifar for a long time and because it is run by volunteers, we know that a large proportion of the funds raised go directly to the families who need them.

The Three Peaks will be a tough test of physical endurance, mental stamina and effective teamwork and we hope to complete it in 24 hours. We will be attempting the challenge over the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2017.

So please donate as much as you can to encourage us to commit to get fit and to help us raise a significant amount of money for an important cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Elifar.
