Inspired by Doddie Weir and Rob Wainwright - 2 Ex Scottish Rugby Internationals. Sadly Doddie has MND!

Matt, Steve, Wyn and I (Rob) - a team of 4 riders are going to cycle from Edinburgh to Cardiff to raise money for MND. We will be supported by John and Neil  (in the Van) and intend to cycle 500 miles in 48 hours. We will be travelling through towns and villages and stopping in many Rugby Clubs on the way.  These Include Ruthin and Aberystwyth that some of the players have previously played for with the intention of raising awareness for such a good cause.

The intention is to do it in a relay. We are a bit vague in what order and for what length of times each will cycle. One way or another we will get there in time to watch the Wales Scotland game and remain friends.

It is a big, tough event with a peppering of Ex Welsh and Scottish players taking part as well as approximately 20 other teams of 4. We will be supported by John & Neil and we expect a lot of man love from them both.
