As all close friends and family will know my wife was diagnosed with 2 thyroid disorders 8 years ago. Graves Disease and Thyroid Eye Disorder(TED). Most people think that thyroid disorders solely have issues with either weight gain or weight loss but this is not the case. Many symptoms of Graves disease are, sudden heart attacks, social anxiety, heart palpitations, hand tremors, muscle weakess, panic attacks, and short term memory loss.

We have chosen this charity as we want to create awarness as there could be many people undiagnosed with these conditions. Also as i work for Santander anything we raise together will be matched and hopefully this can go towards helping find a cure. 

The beard shave will take place at the Cwmbran branch of Santander on Friday 9th June and the Velothon Wales will take place on Sunday 9th July.
