Story
Hi everyone! As a finalist competing in Miss Diamond International (2022) representing Australia, I'm so honoured and grateful to announce, I have proudly chosen to support and raise money for a charity close to my heart: Butterfly Foundation!
My vision is clear, I want to change as many lives as I can, by bringing light and hope to those struggling at home with self-image or an eating disorder. My mission is something that I’m so passionate about, as I myself have struggled in the past. I want everyone to know that an eating disorder doesn’t have to control your life. You are worth so much more than what that number on the scale says. You should embrace your own beauty by learning to accept and love your body. You are beautiful, you are unique and most importantly, you are ENOUGH. What people don’t realise is that an eating disorder is a disease, not a life-style choice nor a cry for attention. It is also nothing you should never be ashamed of. YOU MATTER and you deserve happiness. Myself and Butterfly Foundation are here to help support you by making recovery a reality.
Butterfly Foundation is the national charity for all Australians impacted by eating disorders and body image issues, and for the families, friends and communities who support them. Butterfly changes lives by providing innovative, evidence-based support services, treatment and resources, delivering prevention and early intervention programs and advocating for the needs of our community.
Did you know, Eating Disorders have highest mortality rate of any Mental Illness? Every dollar counts. You can bring HOPE to those suffering from an eating disorder today.
Please help me help them by donating whatever amount you can using the 'Donate Now' button. The more people that know about Butterfly Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means so much to me and Butterfly Foundation.
Over 1 million Australians are living with an eating disorder. Less than a quarter of those receive treatment or support. Just $5.00 could support 1 child to receive positive body image education in their school.
