Fundraising for University College London Hospitals Charity UK
Thank you for visiting Rainbows@UCLH.
In response to the amazing Clap for Carers for our NHS, we wanted to say thank-you for your wonderful and deeply moving support. So, Jo, Suzy and I created Rainbows@UCLH- a visual reminder that we are here for you.
#WeAreYourNHS
At University College London Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust, we are dedicated to looking after you and your family. Though we are currently focussed on the national effort to look after COVID-19 patients, we still provide time-critical care at Westmoreland Street, hyper-acute stroke care and neuro-oncology surgical care at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, as well as emergency care in all specialities.
As surgeons, we have had to adapt, especially in cancer services. Jo and I have been part of the team creating the north and east London Cancer Hub- a coordinated and novel approach to cancer care during this unprecedented time. We are here to ensure you always get the timely care you need and we have successfully operated on many cancer patients over the pandemic period.
Looking to the future Jo, Suzy and I are raising monies to support our hospital in the recovery phase which will follow the COVID-19 pandemic. As a centre of excellence, we provide first class acute and specialist services across 6 hospitals. We provide vital hospital services for our local community as well as specialist services to patients across the UK. The well-being of all our staff is paramount to us making this a success.
Funds raised will be used to support our “NHS heroes” of today, our hospital teams, as well as our wider NHS family. This rehabilitation of UCLH post COVID-19 will enable us to continue to deliver our mission of top quality patient care, excellent education and world class research.
Please donate if you are able.
