Story
9th May
Oh my, another two bottle-fed babies just a few hours old are now with us
8th May 2019
We now have 18 kittens in our care, 6 bottle fed and 8 feral, plus 3 pregnant cats - kitten season has certainly hit us hard
So many cats and kittens have already come into our branch this year and each one comes with its own sad story - Right now we have 12 kittens, 6 of who are being bottle fed, and also we have 3 pregnant cats, duse any day now. Each one costs a minimum of £250 to have all the necessary vet checks, vaccinations, worming, flea treatments and vital health checks... and these are the lucky ones who require no further treatment.
Then there are the really awful stories, which we don't want to dwell on, but as you can imagine it's an incredibly busy time of the year for us and those sad tales of neglect and abandonment are stretching us
We are all volunteers, working tirelessly and often around the clock to care for the cats and kittens that come to us. Every cat matters and is given the highest standard of care to ensure it has the best chance of a good life in a loving, forever home.
We receive no government funding and rely heavily on the kindness of the public to help us. We would be so grateful if you could spare just a couple of pounds, or whatever you can, no amount is too large or small and every penny goes towards helping local cats and kittens in our care.
If you can just donate the price of a cup of coffee, £2.50 - we can feed a kitten for a day, or
· £5 - worming treatment
· £10 - worming and flea treatment
· £15 - microchip
· £25 - veterinary health check
· £50 - full vaccination
· £50 - neutering
These costs do not take into account litter, laundry, cat care, and any other veterinary treatment required! And EVERY PENNY you donate goes straight to caring for the little ones in our care
Thank you to every single person who has supported us this year, your generosity is invaluable to these little ones and we can never thank you enough xx
