Following on from my 2021 Challenge of walking 1083 miles Lands End to John O’Groats, my 2022 challenge is to swim (virtually) The English Channel.
The English Channel is 22 miles. I aim to swim this distance in February (28days) raising money for St Luke’s (Sheffield) Hospice
I will be swimming at Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre One mile is 64 lengths I will record the progress on my Fitbit and upload the results weekly.
Why St Luke’s? …… in memory of two guys, David Shaw and Mark Allsopp
David and Mark spent their last days in St Lukes, surrounded by their loving families. ❤️❤️
