1 in 6 people in the UK can't hear. This affects us all in some way. Perhaps Granny has the TV on too loud. Maybe Dad is missing some of your conversation - he used to work with heavy machinery. Or maybe your child has been born with a hearing loss and you don't know where to turn. Deaf Direct helps a person to "feel like a human being again" after a diagnosis of hearing loss. They provide practical and emotional support to overcome communication barriers and help people to remain independent. 

Bamboo Technology Group are holding a bikeathon in their office on Friday 26th May, where members of the team will take it in turns to cycle for 9 minute stints. This is to not only raise awareness and money for the charity, but to celebrate it's 90th Anniversary. Anything you can donate will go to helping people overcome communication barriers that they face in their day-to-day lives.
