Im running the rob burrow marathon in 2023 for my nana.
It all started my nana looking after me from a baby along side my mum I grew up took a few wrong turns in life and lived an awful lifestyle I was overweight I smoked 30-40 a day and my nana worried about me and what would happen to me. In 2020 she was diagnosed with cancer it tore a hole in my heart I looked after her for 6 months along side my family doing things I never thought I’d do and things I never thought I’d see! It was a hard time during the start of covid! Sadly she passed away on the 13th October 2020. It was a difficult time for us all through the grief I decided to change my life for the better, I took up walking and lifestyle changes and became fitter and healthier and I thank my nana each day as I believe she’s watching down on me. I lost 7 stone and became fitter than I ever and I think this is the right way to prove to my nana how far I have come in life.
