The hidden valley of Matongo in Tanzania's Mara Region is 40km from the nearest tarred road. To get to a centre to give birth, mothers have to trudge 15km over hills on rough paths. 10,000 people live in scattered communities here, and we are raising money to build them their own clinic. The Government has promised staffing and housing for a medical team. The Tanzania Devlopment Trust has paid for a borehole. Now we need to help the villagers build the clinic. We visited Matongo in January and had a wonderful welcome  and saw that the villagers have already made 30,000 bricks! With your support we can help them build their clinic.
