Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi & thank you for visiting my page.

2010 I lost my Mum after a horrible fight to Cancer , St Ann's Hospice went out of their way to give my Mum the best few weeks of her life they could, even lending us a bed so we could take Mum home so she could be more settled in her last days :0(  The nurses and doctors are second to non. My mum was my rock and best friend who brought me up to be the person i am today, she had a heart of gold and a glint in her eye always :0).

Diane cooke was an absolute diamond who i miss terribly after loosing her to Cancer 26th November 2017. I'd been friends with Diane for far to many years to count and always kept in touch with each other no matter how busy we both were, sadly she got cancer a few years ago and even tho she fought it off time after time it came back bloody worse and sadly took her away from us. Diane was a true fighter who always smiled and light up any room when she walked in, her laugh still rings in my ears and it just makes me smile today just thinking of it.

Pam Rhodes was a lovely lady who i was lucky enough to call my friend, who sadly passed away 22nd April 2016 to Cancer. Pam was part of what i call my second family as I've known her for so long and had some absolutely fantastic years and memories with her and family.Plenty of singing and dancing over the years with the odd drink lol, Pam even came to support me with her husband when training for a charity bike ride even tho she wasn't feeling 100% she just put a smile on her face and carried on.

I could go on and on about my Mum, Diane and Pam and others and how lucky i have been to have had them all in my life but the main reason I'm doing this Ride and Run is to raise much needed funds for St Ann's Hospice especially ( Little Hulton ). So i hope you all share my page and donate even £1 because believe me it makes such a difference.

Over the coming months I will be challenging myself to 50 events, I'll be posting dates & descriptions of up and coming events I have entered. Which will include Car boots, cycle rides, running events, sky dive, dualathon, & many more.

My charity will be St Ann's Hospice as it has a huge place in my heart for many reasons.

I will be adding links to donate , photo's of events & dates of up and coming events too.😊

I've already signed up to do the following
Tour De Manc 100km
Manchester 10k
Manchester- Blackpool 61 miles
Manchester Marathon 2020
& plenty more to follow.
