Story

My name is Alison Griffiths and I am the Charitable Funds Manager for Aneurin Bevan University Local Health Board.  So many of you have conatcted us asking how you can help and how you can donate to us in response to COVID-19 in Gwent, so I have set up this page within the charity's Just Giving site to receive on-line donations.

The money will be placed in the Health Board's registered charity, Aneurin Bevan Health Charity, into a specific fund for the COVID-19 /Coronavirus pandemic.

The Health Board is currently committing resources on a range of things in response to COVID-19 including PPE, ventilators, beds, drugs, consumables, additional staff, etc. all of which we hope to be funded by Welsh Government.

We do not yet fully know how we will utilise your donations as none of us have been in this situation before.  Staff well-being, essential supplies for patients and increasing volunteer activity are some of the things we are currently looking at.  We will update this page as further information becomes available.

We are very grateful for your generous offers of donations and continued support for our patients and staff during this time. Thank you.
