Our personal message:

I am soing this ride for two charitys, so please be sure to visit the other just giving site at www.justgiving.com/fredschallengehomestart

I will update my pages as soon as I can!

Hello All,

On the 18th of April this year, I shall set off from Kingsbury square, Aylesbury, to make the 600 mile trip to Bourg-en-Bresse in France.

It’s set to take me about 8 days of cycling, and the arrival party is planned for Saturday the 26th, 9 days later. It will be the biggest challenge I have undertaken in terms of my physical fitness, even more so as I only started cycling toward the third quarter of 2007.

I hope to raise lots of money, and the profile of the two charities I am riding this ride for, Home-Start and cross roads, so please please, please check out the two causes and give a little money to each.

Even if you only give a penny per mile, that’s £6.00. give 2p per mile, that’s £12.00. 3p a mile is just £18.00.

Or if you would rather give directly, there will be a number of opportunities to give events before April, so keep an eye out on the cycle Aylesbury website, and in the Bucks Herald.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Crossroads Caring for Carers will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thankyou,

Fred.
