Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Update 9 May 2011:
Many thanks to everyone who donated to the cause. My final time was 2:26:28, which was quicker than my target time of two and a half hours. Just need to nurse my legs for a week until the Hull 10K next week.

The devastation across the northern half of Japan has been truly harrowing to see, and is of a personal concern to myself; I love the country, the people and the culture, and they are now very much in need.
Though the earthquake and resultant tsunami has gone, there have been many towns and villages completely wiped from the landscape, making thousands of the survivors homeless. Long-term radiation issues mean that there will be some areas that cannot be populated in the near future, meaning long-term displacement even after the rebuilding of thousands of homes. All the while the relief efforts and the clearup operations go on in the middle of a massive economic depression, and the threat of more devastating earthquakes is ever present.
Thus I have decided to run in aid of the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
This will be my first half marathon. Please consider donating in aid of a worthy cause. Thank you.
