Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Once again the team at Fourth Day are very proud to be supporting Byte Night. This year Nikki, Lizzie, Emily, Xanthe and Flo will be braving the elements to raise money for Action for Children.

By giving up our bed for one night we'll be helping young people like Hollie. Hollie suffered physical and emotional abuse from her mum and was eventually thrown out of the house at 17, leaving her with nowhere to go. In desperation, she began living in a tent with her boyfriend until, after two months, she found help at Action for Children’s New Horizons project.

New Horizons provided Hollie with supported accommodation and helped her through emotional support and practical assistance. It also provided advice on securing and maintaining a tenancy, allowing Hollie to concentrate on building herself a brighter future.

On 3rd October we will be saying goodbye to our loved ones, and giving up our home comforts to spend the evening sleeping rough, and you can help young people like Hollie by sponsoring us to do so. Please give whatever you can afford big or small every donation makes a difference.

Thank you!
