<p><em>Thanks to everyone for viewing our page.</em>&nbsp;</p> <p>Andrew and John are set to bicycle across America!&nbsp;</p> <p>We'll start in Seattle, Washington at the end of September and will arrive in Jacksonville, Florida&nbsp;at the end of&nbsp;December.&nbsp; Altogether we'll complete over 4000 miles- down the west coast and across the southern tier states.&nbsp;</p> <p>We're completing the cycle in support of Christian Aid and would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to make.&nbsp; Just Giving is a safe and easy way to donate so please do so&nbsp;if you can.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks very much!</p> <p>UPDATE from halfway:&nbsp; We've reached the 2000 mile mark ahead of schedule and are thrilled to have reached our fundraising target as well!&nbsp; With 2000 more miles to go, we'd like to continue to raise money for Christian Aid with the aim of doubling our inital target.&nbsp; Any donation will greatly benefit the charity.&nbsp; Thank you all so much for your support!!!</p> <p>UPDATE: Journey completed!&nbsp; We reached the Atlantic Ocean at Jacksonville Beach, Florida at 3:45PM on 17 December 2010.&nbsp; We took our bikes onto the beach and had a quick dip in the water (see photo).&nbsp; The total miles covered was 4,492 miles over 65 cycling days.&nbsp; Our highest elevation was 8,228 feet and we completed roughly 1.3 million pedal rotations.&nbsp; Thanks to everyone who has supported our journey- please continue to give as every donation greatly benefits the work of Christian Aid!</p>
