We're pretty sure you haven't stumbled across this page by accident and you know what we're up to, but just in case...

 

Chris and Gareth are competing in the 2011 Scumrun rally.  This is a cross Europe rally taking in roughly 3,000 miles over just 4 days in a car we bought for a grand total of £250!!!  The vehicle we are using is a 1994 purple Ford Escort Solar 16v Cabriolet which is a bit on the eyecatching side.

 

If you don't actually know either of us, a quick summary is Chris is going through a midlife crisis and has a "Drive it like you stole it" mentallity for the rally, whereby Gareth is vaguely sensible and grown up and intending to heed the hare and tortoise fable and potter slowly but surely.  Inevitably this will cause arguments as we share the driving over the period.

In return for your donations, we are providing advertising space on the vehicle as it travels throughout the south east UK region up until the rally (April 2011). 

 

The event itself is generally covered by Sky television and with FastCar magazine involved, there is a chance that YOUR advertising will be seen by its readers also.  There is usually a DVD release following the rally and again, if you are advertised on the vehicle, there is a chance that you will be seen by viewers of that also.

 

This is truly a unique advertising chance combined with the opportunity to help seriously ill children who may not see adulthood achieve their dreams.

 

Advertising prices start at just £20 for a www address on each side with larger donations resulting in logo's, slogans and pictures.

 

If you do not wish to advertise, and just want to do a really really nice thing for the UK kiddies, then just donate.  A quid helps.  2 quid helps that little bit more.  5 quid will beat 4, but 10 helps more.  Anything you want to donate will help us reach our target so even the £1 donation will rock in our opinion.
