Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Here's a little background on our 'runners'.

Matt Deighton (Lancaster Wickes): built like a marathon runner and he's putting the training in. May get distracted if there are any pubs or live music en route.

Sam Casey (Lancaster Wickes): lean, mean, selling machine. Uber fit when it comes to the gym and general sports but can he carry that big frame for 13 miles?

Keith Whitham (Blackpool Wickes): background includes the three peaks and cycling. Possibly the fittest on the sly, keep your eye on this one.

Matt Hodgson (Blackpool Wickes): allegedly used to run for Lancashire but his 20 a day habit plus a fried breakfast every morning must have reduced performance. The potential is there if he can be arsed to train.

Last but not least Graham Dodgson (Blackpool Wickes): The underdog. Not entirely unfit but he's built for comfort not for speed. Needs to put in some serious mileage before the big one to lose that extra baggage.
