Thanks for visiting the fundraising page for the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club (NIIMC)  fund raiser for the N.I. Hospice here in Belfast .This is the big adventure that our little FIAT 500, supported by Mervyn Stewarts the FIAT/Alfa Romeo Dealers, will be having this summer across the USA to meet with some rather far away Fiat fanatics while raising funds for a really good cause!

On the 26th May 2008 I'll be taking our 500 to Liverpool for shipping to New York were a month later we'll be reunited on the in the Big Apple  to take the car to the largest collection of Italian cars to ever be gathered in the USA, as it is the 25th year of the 'FiatFreakOut' that the North American Italian Motor Club holds for it's members and their vehicles. Fiat stopped maketing cars there over 25 years ago so it will be quite an event to show off an brand new FIAT to fans that have not seen such a thing in a quarter of a century!

While there the car will be a raising funds among the fans of this Italian make for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.  There's more details about this on our site - www.LittleFiatBigAdventure.com

After that event we will dash across country to San Francisco to meet up with guys from the www.mirafiori.com Fiat & Lancia Club were we will be showing the New 500 in Golden Gate Park to the media beside an original 500 then we'll be taking a leisurely trip down Highway 1 towards LA and then back to the East Coast for shipping home to Belfast.

This isn't the first time that as a club we've raised money for the Hospice with unusual trips in small Fiats. In 2005 we did a return trip to the Sahara in the Club Mascot, a Fiat Panda called 'Sylvia' and in 2006 we crossed America in the same little car. 2007 allowed us to get together with the  with 2 other Fiat Fanatics when we raced 'Sylvia' against the Orient Express to Istanbul.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me and Northern Ireland Hospice Care, who will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

We are also interested in hearing from companies that would like to buy space on the car in lieu of donations to the NI Hospice. Contact me on 07773 800007 if you'd like to donate that way or for more information email fundraising@niimc.net

Many thanks for your support.
