We run 22 rehoming centres to care for over 13,000 dogs every year

Story

6 months ago James and I rehomed a gorgeous Trailhound from the Dogs Trust, via Lakeland Trailhound Welfare and named her Farah.

We were so pleased with the care she received from these organisations and are passionate about the essential work that they do, that we would like to raise some cash to help them continue doing a great job.

Farah has proven that she is fit, healthy and loves to run, so its time she ran her first marathon!

She has progressed from her original vocation of Hound Trailing (see www.trailhoundwelfare.org.uk  for more info), so will need a human to accompany her – that’s me, Candice.

Farah’s welfare will be paramount; I shall be checking her feet regularly and, of course, carry water and a first aid kit.

If I am concerned for her well-being I will remove her from the event.
