I wasn't born into a golfing family. I was only able to take up the game through the generous support of the parents of one of my school friends. I believe that Golf is a great sport with life long benefits not only for health and friendship but importantly it can teach children the personal qualities of respect, courtesy and integrity. That's why I chose The Golf Foundation as my charitable beneficiary. Their work bringing the game of golf within reach of all children and helping them develop life skills is an admirable cause. I hope every golfer can show their support too by donating 'a fiver for the foundation'.
