Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Every 20 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Only around 30% of people with blood cancer find a matching donor within their family.

With your help we want to raise funds to make Ward 19 at Heartlands Hospital become only the 2nd Hospital in England to use the DKMS stem cell donor database system, where stem cell donations will be taken and sent out globally to help people all across the world fighting these terrible cancers.

Please help us to help thousands of people suffering with these blood cancers, your donations will make a massive difference to our patients lives and improve outcomes for so many, near and far.

Together we can beat cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
