This will be our 4th dragon boat event in Backnang Square, Chelmsford and we're theming it on the Euro 16 Football Championships with each team adopting a competing country. It's 10 years since our younger son, Tim, died of acute leukaemia and the dragon boat competition is one of our Ten for Tim events we're organising to raise awareness of blood cancers and help save more lives.

So our aim is to make the event bigger and better than ever before with music and entertainment for all the family in Backnang Square to complement the dragon boat racing.
