Emily's FAST24

Emily's FAST24 · 1 November 2015
This year I'm taking part in FAST24 an initiative of Warwick U.N.I.C.E.F. on Campus, whereby I will fast for 24 hours in order to raise money for UNICEF's Yemen crisis appeal.
The humanitarian crisis in Yemen is worsening due to the relentless fighting and air strikes that have continued to take place there, putting millions of children in danger. Currently 1.8 million children are thought to be at risk of malnourishment due to food shortages across the country and experts say that the country isn't far away from enduring famine.
Just £50 could provide a two month supply of life-saving peanut paste which is enough to bring two severely malnourished children back to health.
All of the money raised will go to UNICEF UK, providing nourishment for these children and their families as well as medical supplies to hospitals and health workers.
No child deserves to live in a war zone and suffer as these children are suffering, but your money can help to improve their quality of life. Any donation, big or small would make a difference for sure!
Please don't hesitate to donate - thank you!
