As many of you know I am extremely close to my Grandad and finding out he had Parkinson's and having to see how hard it is for him and my family living with Parkinson's, is extremely difficult. I have decided to run the 2012 Lichfield Half-Marathon as a challenge to myself. Having completed one before, my aim is to beat my time of 2 hours 14 minutes. I'm not much of a runner so training has started in earnest - and now it's not only time for me to work hard, but ask you wonderful lot to donate as much as you can afford to support me and Parkinson's UK.
