I'm participating in the armpits4august fundraising event for the Verity PCOS charity:

The Verity PCOS charity provides support and help for women suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycystic_ovary_syndrome

By participating, I mean growing my armpit hair for the month of August and dying it pink - a small, symbolic act of solidarity with PCOS sufferers (one potential symptom is excessive hair growth). Please consider donating a small amount. Thank you!

About the charity

Verity is a self help group set up in 1997 to help women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The charity is completely self funded and is the only national charity for women with PCOS. PCOS affects millions of women in the UK and worldwide (approximately 5-10 per cent) .
