We tackle the causes of hunger today to give children a healthy tomorrow

Story

Hello!

We are a group of academics and students in Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton supporting Action against Hunger UK.

If you would like to find out more about our charity, please visit their website at http://www.aahuk.org.
Donating to this charity really means a lot ... and does a lot too... below you can see an example of what our sponsorship money will buy:

£1 can provide a meal for 6 children in Malawi.

£5 can provide a meal for 30 children in Malawi.

£10 can provide a week's supply of therapeutic milk, nutritional products, vitamins and medicine for a child.

£27 can provide the survival kit needed to save the life of a severly malnourished child.

£36 is the cost of a mechanical surface pump (< 7 metres).

£350 - £2140 is the cost of a handpump (20-70 meters) providing permanent and lasting access to safe drinking water for around 500 people.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action Against Hunger UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
