Instead of a cricket tour this year, a group of players and friends decided on a charity cycle ride (240 miles in 3 days) to raise some money for a very good cause.

I signed up for it even though at the time I did not own a bike....I now have the bike and a set of matching lycra(!) and have been training hard ready for the 'grand depart' from The Ram in Bath (cricket club HQ) on 9th July.
