Story
A very BIG THANK YOU!!
The deed is done and I am glad to have finished the Flora London Marathon in 5 hours 44 min (inc 10 min loo queue!). Thank you so much to all you wonderful and generous people who have given your support, encouragement and of course sponsorship. As you see, through your generosity I have exceeded my target. I must thank my wonderful wife Jo for her special love, care and support particularly in the week leading up to the big day. Jo, you are brilliant, I love you and I am certain I could not have done it without you. With immeasurable thanks again from me, the Charing Cross Hospital Neurosciences, ACET and EddNets.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. If you have come here via my e-mail, you will already know that I am running the Flora London Marathon (see above link) to raise money for the Neurosciences at Charing Cross Hospital that saved my son David's life in 2007, 'Eddnets' for the promotion of antimalarial measures in Mozambique in honour of the memory of Edd Burrell who sadly died from a brain tumour, and also ACET (see left of page)
ACET have kindly agreed to act as a conduit for donations and the final total will be divided 40% to Charing Cross, 40% to ACET and 20% to Eddnets.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
For those who wish to write cheques, please make them payable to 'ACET' and post either to home address or Crown St Surgery, 1-23 Crown St, Acton W3 8SA, for the attention of Mrs J Hawkins, Practice Manager.
Thank you very much for your support and do e-mail me to say hello.
