For us, five days trekking and camping in the rugged wilderness of Iceland, walking the Landmannalaugar trail, although challenging, is an adventure trip of a lifetime. We are choosing to investigate & enjoy the landscape formed by volcanic activity. For many others in the world, however, the same dynamic forces that created Iceland's amazing scenery have torn apart livlihoods and wrecked lives. By sponsoring us on the trek, you will be supporting CARE International's development work in places such as Haiti - where people are still rebuilding their lives after the 2010 earthquake.
