Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Imagine riding a bike up that road on the left!
On 6 July I am riding 100 miles along the toughest stage of this year's Tour de France.
Starting in Pau in SW France I and 9,000 other madmen ride for 50 miles as fast as possible into the Pyrenees, climb the Tourmalet (highest pass in that range) for 15 miles, descend at speeds up to 60 mph for 20 miles and finally climb another mountain, the Hautacam, for 10 miles.
All within a strict time limit.
Some good should come from this mid-life madness so I am raising money for Demelza, a children's hospice in Kent. All money raised goes to them, I am paying all trip expenses myself.
Please help me raise as much money as I can for them.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Demelza, Hospice Care for Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks!
