We offer help to adults and their families to manage the effects of cancer treatments

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2011 my wife, Yvonne, was diagnosed with breast cancer just after our friend, Emma (Kevin's wife) was too.  Also my mother passed away 7 years ago due to cancer.  Members of this cycling team have also been affected by friends and family with cancer.  Breast Friends Sutton Coldfield have given of their domestic services which Emma has utilised whilst Yvonne has enjoyed the weekly therapeutic art group at the Cancer Centre plus aromatherapy massages and other support from there.

The 6 of us from Walmley are hoping to raise £1,000 each to be split between Breast Friends and the Cancer Support Centre in order for them to continue to provide the much needed support for so many women during such an ordeal physically and emotionally during chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy and endless hospital appointments.

We will be taking on the 210 miles Mountainbike Coast to Coast challenge which involves riding off road from St Bees on the west coast to Robin Hood Bay on the east and your donation (no matter how small) will be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate they'll send your money directly to the chairty and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.  So it's the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Thank you for your support.
