For Dennis, Dad, Grandad, Dadis

Dennis was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in November 2009.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones. Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.
Determined to spend more time with his grandchildren, children and wife, he fought everyday. He was also keen to fight for a cure and others that suffered with MND so he volunteered to take part in a new drug trial.
When he was taken so quickly from us on 1st July 2010 it was a shock for us, but a relief for him. We are keen to celebrate his life and also help others who suffer from MND. So please dig deep and donate, as well as leaving any messages.
