On 27th Oct I am going to cycle approx. 50 miles from Farnborough to Portsmouth then on 28 Oct I’ll be running 10 miles in the Great South Run.

 Please take a minute to read some information from the minister (my dad) of the church I’m fundraising for. 

St Mary's Community Church is a small church in a mixed occupancy housing estate designated an area of deprivation in Dundee.

We planned and built an extension to enable us to serve the community more effectively through a variety of activities, both ones we run ourselves and hosting other community groups and agencies. At present we have a toddler group twice a week and a weekly adults' craft club. There are proposals for an adult education project helping parents with their children's literacy.

We still have some work to do to complete the project and re-open the community cafe which we run with two other local churches serving lunches to local people at affordable prices, and expect more community activities to develop from that.
