Story
Hi there,
so yes I'm doing the Great North Run for a 2nd time. It was so brilliant last year I just had to try it again. BUT it will be my last time. Like last year, I'll be running with my grandparents in mind - in particular my late Grandpa who was affected by prostate cancer. I'm half Geordie too so I also love the running location that is Tyneside - Newcastle, and especially South Shields.
So again, all this effort is to help raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity, a great cause in need of much greater awareness. Please help. Any donations - large or small - always help.
I'm currently at a 'training camp' in sunny Norfolk, with plenty of space for peaceful training runs - a far cry from the wonderful madness that is the Great North Run!
Many thanks,
Dean.
