Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

Looking at old school photos (Dane Court '74 - '79) via Facebook reminded me that we have all turned a milestone in the last year.  To celebrate my turning 50 I fulfilled a lifelong dream to ride on the Orient Express.... and I got my first tattoo!  Being in touch with old schoolmates made me realise how fantastic everyone still looks!  Some of us may not be brave enough to post "no make-up selfies" but we can still upload a current pic to raise money for this fantastic cause.  There are over 21 million over 50's in the UK - if we reached 20% and got each to donate a pound, that's £4.2 million (thanks Dr Long, for teaching me the maths!).
